OUGD504: Design for print and web; aesthetic and inspiration research

The Type Faces Project by Tiago Pinto is a nice reminder that we don’t have to take everything about design so seriously. The Portuguese advertising creative spent a month off before moving to Amsterdam and came up with this fun project of faces created using fonts. Aren’t they cute?



Really like the simple aesthetic, they communicate everything fantastically with an added bit of humour.

The detail is interesting in these images, I could do something similar with political figures and their hand/ body movements. Examples, kennedy, churchill, hitler...
